Through the MAF Coffee Fellowship, you will be joining hands with hundreds of churches. By challenging your congregation to fill the gas tanks of two or more MAF airplanes, churches across the U.S. would enable as many as 1,400 flights, carrying 4,300 passengers, and transporting more than 374,000 pounds of precious cargo. It's amazing what can be done when you join hands with other churches.
The challenge for your church is to fill two Mission Aviation Fellowship airplanes, representing 160 gallons of aviation fuel or $800. You may decide to choose a different goal, perhaps a larger one - it's your choice.
For every 30 minutes your group lingers over a cup of coffee, somewhere in the world, a Mission Aviation Fellowship plane could have covered 70 miles of impenetrable terrain, typically carrying three missionaries and 355 pounds of cargo. Without Mission Aviation Fellowship, such a trip might require days of arduous travel by foot, canoe, or pack animal.
