My love for Nascar

 I was at the Christian book store the other day looking for a CD and a book that I could enjoy when I ran across a devotional called: Before the Thunder rolls.

Finally my love for Nascar can be connected to my spiritual journey!  

I am a relatively new fan to Nascar.  I have only seriously followed it for about 3 years.  I owe that to one of my friends who encouraged me to just sit down and watch one race with him...It was the Daytona 500.  It is now by far my favorite sport to watch! 

Last week's race was especially exciting!  I only caught the final 47 laps because I was visiting a church that morning but what a finish!

Hmmmm...I wonder if I will be able to watch Nascar when I am in Africa?
