Back in Washington (July 10, 2008)

   We have been home now just under two weeks. It has been wonderful seeing friends and family again. Joey's parents drove back with us from Idaho and spent last week with us. We did our best to show them as much of the beautiful Northwest as we could. Below are some of the pictures.

Mount St. Helens is a really unique place to visit. The eruption in 1980 completely changed the landscape within about 17 miles of the volcano.

Cape Disappointment Lighthouse is at the mouth of the Columbia River where it flows into the Pacific Ocean. This area is one of our favorite places to visit.

There is still a lot of snow on Mt. Rainier!

And here are Joey's mom and dad at the top of the Space Needle in Seattle.

It was great having them here!
