Do you know how difficult it is to take the Gospel to remote regions of the world? Without access to the Gospel, millions die each year missing out on a relationship with God and the hope of eternal life.
Some 2.37 billion people representing 5,838 people groups live in the 51 countries served by MAF. Of these groups, over 3,400 have been identified by the Joshua Project as among the least reached in the world.
What is MAF Sunday?
On MAF Sunday, your church will hear about and can respond to the needs of millions living in isolated regions of the world, where there are many stretches of jungles, mountains, and deserts that the Gospel has yet to penetrate. It is for these areas, for still unreached people, that MAF is overcoming barriers ... so that all nations might hear!
When is MAF Sunday?
The official date of MAF Sunday is October 10, 2010, but you can feel free to host an MAF Sunday event on any date that is convenient for your church or group.
How can I get involved?
By hosting MAF Sunday in your church, you have the opportunity to be part of overcoming barriers to the Gospel and bringing the love of Christ to the forgotten ones of all nations.
It’s easy to host an MAF Sunday event. All you need to do is ...
- Get permission from your church leadership to host MAF Sunday.
- Show the MAF DVD at the event.
- Share from your heart why you think the ministry of MAF is strategic in helping to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth, or find an MAF Advocate in your area to speak at the event.
- Be available to share the MAF support packets afterwards and talk to interested individuals about the ministry of MAF.
