Perry and LaNnae Pust and their children, Kindra, Nathan, and Kevin, are missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship serving on home staff in the Recruiting Department. They have previously served 21 years in Indonesia, Perry, as a pilot/mechanic, and LaNnae as a teacher. Perry’s present position as North West Recruiter puts him in touch with many who are in the process of responding to God’s call on their lives to become mission aviators, teachers, computer specialists, or fulfill other needs within MAF. Perry says, “It is a joy to sit with those God is speaking to about joining MAF and encourage them along that path, walking with them through the long journey of preparation, which most often takes about six years.” LaNnae’s varied experience on the mission field provides information that is also very helpful to those new wives whose husbands are looking at MAF as a career. Together they have many opportunities to share their experience and answer the many questions new couples have as they continue to pray and seek God’s clear direction for their lives.

LaNnae continues in her teaching career, and feels that God wants her to teach in the public schools. She felt God say to her that she can have a greater impact and testimony to the ones that Christ is trying to touch with His love by being where most of those kids are.
Perry was born and raised in a Christian home in Montana. He accepted Christ when he was eleven years old at Vacation Bible School after listening to the Nate Saint story on records. As a young teen, Perry felt God’s calling in his life and knew the direction he should take after hearing an MAF pilot speak. Now he has the opportunity to speak to many other young men and women, knowing that in doing so, God can use him to call many others to the harvest field. Perry received a degree in Mission Aviation Technology from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, which included his Airframe and Powerplant license and Private Pilots license. Then he went on to complete the advanced flight program from Moody Aviation in Tennessee where he completed his commercial pilot’s license, and now has over 10,000 hours of field time.
LaNnae grew up in Washington and accepted Christ when she was six years old through her mother’s leading. It was in high school that LaNnae began living for the Lord and building a relationship with Him. She was challenged to serve the Lord—doing whatever He asked of her. She earned a B.A. in special education at Central Washington University. She will be working on her Masters over the next two years, hoping to finish up by the summer of 2007.
To fund the worldwide ministry of MAF, God is faithful in providing loyal, generous ministry support from His most caring people. He has called the men and women of MAF to serve Him in a unique way. He is also calling people like you around the world to play a special role in the ministry of MAF. If you’re interested or feel God’s calling on your life, please call your local NW recruiter!
You are invited to become a ministry partner with Perry and LaNnae in this strategic ministry. Please prayerfully consider involvement with them through prayer and/or financial support.
