The Aviation, Information Technology, and Learning Technologies of MAF uniquely have an impact on people whose access to the Gospel or to basic needs is severely restricted. These technical tools are wielded with precision and effectiveness.
However, this technical ministry requires diligent administration behind the scenes. The tools are expensive, the cargo precious, and the resources limited. MAF urgently needs people with administrative, management or general maintenance (building and grounds) skills to enable the ministry to operate effectively to share the love of Jesus Christ with those in isolated regions.
Length of commitment
Most finance and general maintenance candidates join MAF initially in a short-term associate (STA) role, with a minimum commitment of one to two years.
Professional Qualifications
All Member staff must meet the member qualifications listed on the right, as well as professional qualifications. Couples applying to MAF must individually meet the member qualifications.
Assistant Program Manager
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience
- Either team management experience and/or project management experience involving working with others
- Personal experience of working in a developing country
- Experience of working in aviation or related field; MAF field experience preferable
Finance Manager
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience
- Experience in accounting, banking, or finance with 2 two years in a supervisory or management capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills
Base Maintenance
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Mechanical, construction, and electrical skills highly desired
- Servant attitude
