Will and Julie share that the highlight of their ministry this term has been being the hands and feet of Jesus by providing transportation, supplies, housing, encouragement, and support for missionaries and national church workers in Haiti.
Will's responsibilities have extended beyond the traditional pilot/mechanic role. As the Haiti Program Flight Scheduler, he takes requests by email and phone from local missionaries, teams coming from the US, and Haitian pastors and Christian worker, and coordinates them with the 3 aircraft and 7 pilots, as well as managing the ongoing maintenance schedule of the airplanes. The local church workers know they can rely on MAF 24/7 for emergency flights.
Will also has served as the Disaster Coordinator for MAF-Haiti. Overseeing relief efforts during hurricane season, Will scheduled relief flights, and coordinated the receiving of and storage of relief supplies. He states that it also opened doors to minister to the "relief community."

As an Instructor Pilot, Will is responsible for flight reviews of the pilots and checking out newly assigned staff on routes and airstrips. An added ministry this term has been helping a Haitian pastor in the mountains south of Port-au-Prince. By bringing Creole Bibles to church, aiding with the funding for church students who desire to attend school, and helping with the purchase of land for the church building, Will is involved in their "home" church also.
As her husband flies each day, Julie likes to say that she keeps the rest of the family grounded. Her foremost responsibilities are caring for Will, their two children, and the household. She also enjoys extending hospitality to missionaries or guests and helping them find their way around Port-au-Prince. She is very involved in the kids' school and has started teaching part-time in the library there. She has also served on the parent committee at school, helped in the classrooms, and has been substitute teacher for several grades. Julie helps with babysitting, church nursery, and children's church, preschool at an orphanage, and teaching Sunday School each week. She has led a Mom's group, been involved in ladies' Bible study, and served on the women's committee at church.
Julie relies on Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." She shares," Often I find myself feeling as if I can't do anything more and it is the strength, and love, and joy of my Savior that spurs me on."
