Workplace Giving #10989

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

If you work for the federal government, you can give a gift to MAF through the Combined Federal Campaign. Look for MAF under Christian Service Charities. When you give, please designate #10989 on your pledge form.

United Way

Does your employer promote workplace fundraising through United Way? If so, you may be able to designate your contributions to MAF. Ask your employer if you have a "donor choice" option. If so, write MAF on the pledge form. However, first find out from your employer if the local United Way has assigned their own designation number for MAF or if you should use the MAF designation #10989.

Corporate Giving Program

Many corporations offer a workplace giving program where you can contribute to a charity. Most of these programs are operated by United Way or similar organizations. However, large corporations may manage their program in-house. Ask your employer if you have a "donor choice" option. If so, write in MAF on the pledge form. Your company also may offer a matching gift program that could double your gift to MAF.

Matching Gift Program

Many employers will match gifts designated to a charity of your choice. Check with your employer to see if a Matching Gift Program is available through your workplace that will double your gift to MAF.

Your Generous & Much-Appreciated Contribution Will Accomplish Much!
For example,

  • $1 a week will buy 6 brake pads for a MAF plane (each plane needs 8).
  • $5 a week will buy 1 survival kit for a MAF plane.
  • $5 a week will buy 2 tires for a MAF plane.
  • $7.50 a week will buy 80 gallons of aviation fuel, providing 5 hours of flight time for a missionary, doctor, or teacher.
  • $25 a week will buy 1 landing gear casting for the safety of a MAF plane.
  • $50 a week will sponsor 14 flights for evangelism, crisis relief, community development, medical assistance, or national training.
  • $100 a week will cover the subsidized cost of 28 medical emergency flights.
  • $120 a week buys 1 GPS (global positioning system) navigation receiver.

Your gift to MAF enables the work of some 800 Christian and humanitarian agencies and helps provide vital services to countless thousands who depend on MAF for life-sustaining services.

In the past 12 months, MAF planes saved Christian and humanitarian workers 65,991 days of travel time—or 272.7 work years redeemed for productive Kingdom work. The MAF fleet executed 37,821 flights and logged more than 2.9 million nautical miles to support and enable …
