Chad and Jamie Dimon

Chad and Jamie serve as missionaries in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) along with their three beautiful little girls – Gabby, Eliana, and Sophie.

Chad is a pilot/mechanic, which means his primary ministry is flying and maintaining airplanes “as unto the Lord.” Nyankunde, where the Dimons are based, is strategically positioned to enable MAF to partner with various church, missionary, and medical groups to help their ministries thrive in Congo. When Chad isn’t flying, he’s passionate about reaching out to the community through JESUS film showings and other outreach activities.

Chad was born in Bakersfield, CA and started following Christ at an early age. He also grew up knowing he wanted to be a pilot. One day while flying solo for his private pilot license as a high school senior, Chad first felt the call toward mission aviation without even knowing it existed. That same year he served on a mission trip to Mexico and decided to commit his life to reaching others for Christ. The next year, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ, he was first introduced to MAF, and the prospect of serving in mission aviation suddenly became a reality that he committed to working towards. Earning his B.S. in Aerospace Studies, Chad was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. When his service was complete, Chad immediately dedicated his time and resources towards obtaining his FAA pilot and mechanic certificates. Additionally, thanks to the Lord’s provision, he gained real world experience working over two years as a full-time mechanic and part-time instructor at Regal Air, a flight school in Everett, WA. Chad holds Airframe & Powerplant mechanic certificates, as well as Commercial-Instrument ASEL & AMEL, and CFI certificates.

Jamie was raised by Christian parents in Tacoma, WA and accepted Jesus at a young age. During high school she became very passionate regarding her walk with the Lord. The same year Chad felt God’s call, Jamie attended a mission conference and pledged to serve the Lord as a missionary. Jamie met Chad during his service in the Air Force while she was in nursing school. Before marriage, they had many discussions about their call to serve the Lord. They soon entered marriage with a mutual passion and call to missions. Jamie is a registered nurse, specializing in pediatrics, with several years of general and intensive care experience, and a deep passion for serving children and their families. One of her spiritual gifts is hospitality, and she joyfully likes to host, bake, serve, and encourage. Jamie also enjoys using her experience as an RN to help others, especially at the nearby CME hospital.

Psalm 127:1 helps Chad and Jamie remember their critical dependence on the Lord. “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.” Ministry service begins and ends with the Lord. He calls; He enables; He equips. Chad and Jamie are committed to being His instruments for bringing others into His Kingdom for eternity!

God calls the men and women of MAF to serve Him in unique ways. He may also be calling you to a special role in the Dimons’ ministry. Please prayerfully consider becoming a Ministry Partner with them through prayer and/or financial support.
