Pete and Ashley Greenwald

Pete and Ashley Greenwald and their two sons, Cade and Weston, are grateful to be serving in Papua, Indonesia with Mission Aviation Fellowship. As a pilot/mechanic Pete provides transportation for those involved in missions, evangelism, bible translation, and the national church.

Ashley enjoys providing a loving home for her family, spending time with local friends, and being a source of encouragement for anyone in need.

Throughout their lives, Pete and Ashley have experienced God’s saving grace, mercy, care, and provision. They look forward to sharing the works of the Lord from their personal relationship with Him by helping to meet peoples’ spiritual, practical, and relational needs. Pete and Ashley hear the words of the psalmist in Psalm 105:1 as encouragement to share the saving, healing, and mighty power of God among the nations.

Pete was raised in Georgia and soon after high school felt led into missions with a desire to meet the needs of isolated people and share how Jesus had transformed his life. Pete holds a Commercial Pilot’s license, aircraft mechanic license, and is a Certified Flight Instructor. He studied Aeronautical Science at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas.

Ashley grew up just down the road from Pete in Alpharetta, Georgia. From the time she was young she has had a heart for helping spread God’s Word and seeking His will for her life. During a summer mission opportunity to reach college students overseas she felt God call her into missions. Ashley attended the University of Georgia where she earned a B.A. in Speech Communication. She worked at the UGA Wesley Foundation before marrying Pete and then for several years as Admissions Counselor at LeTourneau University while Pete completed his degree and worked as a flight instructor.

Together, Pete and Ashley are excited to work as a team through mission aviation and to open up their lives so that others may see and experience the transforming power of Jesus.

Without a team of generous supporters who pray and give financially, the work Pete and Ashley do would not be possible
