Will and Julie White have served with Mission Aviation Fellowship since 1996. In Haiti, Will used his pilot/mechanic skills to be the hands and feet of Jesus by providing transportation, supplies, housing, encouragement, and support for missionaries and national church workers in Suriname, South America, and Haiti. Will’s responsibilities extended beyond the traditional pilot/mechanic role. He served as the Haiti program flight scheduler, disaster relief coordinator and Chief Pilot.
Julie’s ministry has revolved around keeping the family grounded as she cares for Will and their two children. In Haiti, she enjoyed extending hospitality to guests and helping them find their way around Port-au-Prince. She was very involved in the kids’ school, serving on the parent committee, helping in the classrooms, and substitute teaching for several grades. Julie relies on Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” She shares, “Often I find myself feeling as if I can’t do anything more and it is the strength, love, and joy of my Savior that spurs me on.”
Currently, Will and Julie, along with their two children (William and Abby), are serving at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. Will is assigned to the MAF maintenance hangar where he readies aircraft for service around the world. Will has also been asked to take short trips to help other programs with flying and doing flight checks with new pilots and represent MAF at various airshows and events around the US.
God calls the men and women of MAF to serve Him in unique ways. He may also be calling you to a special role in the Whites’ ministry. Please prayerfully consider becoming a Ministry Partner with them through prayer and/or financial support.
